Snackville Junction Closed on April 29th!

This note from the owners of Snackville Junction,
Jeff and Linda Silhan
:

“After more than 60 years in business, Snackville will close its doors on Sunday, April 29th. We have owned Snackville for over 20 years and have spent the last 10 of them in Evergreen Park. It is time to retire. Our decision was a difficult one and we continue to hope that a new buyer might be found. Snackville has been in business since the 40’s and has brought smiles to the faces of so many children for all of these years. We hope that you can join us for one last ride with ‘Chow on the Choo Choo‘ before we have to say goodbye. We want to express our thanks to all our customers – it’s been a great ride!”

If you are interested in owning and operating a restaurant, call Jeff or Linda at 773-239-6279.

Feel free to share your experiences with this great institution over the years.

That’s sad. I remember going to eat there with Val when we stayed with Aunt Mickey and Uncle John. The train definitely made the meal more enjoyable!
